Entertainment Engineering doesn’t often publish partnership announcements, but we do like to make our readers aware of quality products and materials and the many applications they can be used in. Knife steel is a particular brand of steel for a specific application, but as with all specialized products and services, there are many unique projects that could benefit from the same innovative ideas.

Stahl Krebs will become a key distributor for Alleima’s premium knife steel portfolio, with grades like Alleima 14C28N and Damax, and give manufacturers across Germany and Central Europe improved support with technical expertise, regional stockholding, and efficient logistics.

Solingen has long been regarded as the center of German cutlery and knife manufacturing. Stahl Krebs has supplied generations of professional knife makers, tool manufacturers, and specialist producers with high-quality steels and dependable service. Its deep understanding of knife-steel performance and well-established distribution network makes Stahl Krebs a trusted partner in the German knife-making ecosystem. Through Stahl Krebs, customers will gain direct access to Alleima’s premium knife steel grades, including Alleima 14C28N, as well as Damax, Alleima’s industrial-scale Damascus steel featuring up to 135 layers of martensitic stainless steel.

Industrial Applications

Alleima’s knife steels are trusted worldwide in applications ranging from kitchen and outdoor knives to demanding industrial tools. Wherever high-precision cutting, wear resistance, and durability are needed in automated production, knife steel is perfect. This includes machines made for industries such as food processing, paper and pulp, packaging, textiles, plastic recycling, and metal fabrication such as slitting and shearing. Alleima will provide its full knife steel portfolio of 10 steel grades, supported by technical data sheets, heat-treatment guidance, and sustainability credentials.
