Manufacturers can repeatedly use stainless steel containers of all types, from lab beakers to manufacturing containers to refillable storage bottles. High-quality stainless steel bottles and containers, feature smooth welds and electropolished surfaces that are easy to clean and sanitize, enhancing their reusability. By repeatedly cleaning and reusing stainless steel containers, manufacturers reduce the need for remanufacturing and minimize waste from discarded glass and plastic—while amplifying their environmental benefits.
Stainless steel containers come in a wide range of sizes and configurations, from 0.2-liter bottles to 300-liter containers. They can be equipped with various lid types, including loose and clamped options with airtight seals. Additional features like top ports, side drains, slant bottom drains, cone tops, dish bottoms, and jackets for heat transfer can also be incorporated, depending on your requirements.
Preserving Scent Quality
UV light can alter the chemical composition of perfumes, affecting scent quality. Sealed stainless steel containers protect against environmental exposure, including sunlight. Corrosion resistance is enhanced through processes such as passivation, which removes free iron from the surface, and electropolishing, which eliminates imperfections, resulting in a smoother, more durable finish. This non-reactive material ensures that the scent remains untainted by the container.
While the initial costs for stainless steel bottles and containers may be higher than those of plastic or glass, their durability and reusability lead to long-term savings. Stainless steel’s strength reduces the likelihood of breakage during shipping, allowing for more efficient container stacking and transportation. Additionally, stainless steel can be laser marked for traceability, aiding compliance with safety regulations such as the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation ACT (MoCRA) while protecting consumer interests.
